Competing in the Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Entrepreneurs Challenge
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected a finalist in the prestigious Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Entrepreneurs Challenge. Robert Voss CBE CStJ, the Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, established this incredible competition to spotlight entrepreneurs from across the county in 2019.
“The Challenge is about giving local entrepreneurs a unique platform to showcase their businesses to the Hertfordshire public,” says Robert Voss. And it truly is a fantastic opportunity, not just for visibility but for personal and business growth.
As finalists, we are provided with a stand at the Herts County Show, a renowned two-day event that attracts over 35,000 visitors. Having the chance to present my business to such a large audience, surrounded by other talented entrepreneurs, is incredibly exciting. The exposure alone could be transformative, but the event doesn’t stop there.
The real test comes in the form of a Dragons’ Den-style pitch, where each finalist has just three minutes to impress a panel of expert judges and the public. Renowned BBC commentator Stuart Storey DL will be grilling us, and while the thought is daunting, it’s also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
